Bilibili (BILI) has announced the launch of its "AI Creation Contest," marking the platform's first global creative competition centered on artificial intelligence.

The contest, which began accepting submissions on January 5th, features two main categories: an "Open Track" and a "The Three-Body Problem Adaptation Track."

The Open Track emphasizes original content, requiring entries to be at least three minutes long, with no restrictions on genre or style—allowing creators maximum freedom to explore popular themes such as suspense, animation, and romance. The Three-Body Problem Adaptation Track is a joint initiative by Bilibili and Three-Body Universe, the IP's copyright holder and operator; participants are encouraged to create adaptations or innovations based on the world of "The Three-Body Problem," using AI to expand upon and visualize the narrative gaps left in the original work.

The contest sets a new industry benchmark for prize money. Bilibili has allocated 77 award slots with a total prize pool exceeding 3 million yuan, including a top prize of 1 million yuan. Beyond cash rewards, winners will receive support from Bilibili's weekly traffic, which reaches over 100 million users, and may have the opportunity to collaborate with professional production teams, with Open Track entries potentially being developed into full-length series or film projects.
