AT&T Inc has announced a marketing partnership with Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, launching a series of joint promotional activities centered around the upcoming film "Toy Story 5," set for release on June 19th. The collaboration, themed around "connection," encompasses custom animated advertisements, in-store immersive experiences, limited-edition merchandise, and community charitable screenings.

AT&T and Pixar have co-produced a custom animated short film. In the clip, classic characters like Bonnie, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear demonstrate how "connection" functions in real family life. Angela Rittgers, Senior Vice President of Consumer National Revenue Operations at AT&T, stated: "Connection is what AT&T does best, and this partnership allows us to bring that connection to every family in a real and warm way."

From June 8th to July 9th, AT&T will create "Toy Story 5"-themed immersive experiences in selected stores across six major markets: Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York. Stores will feature interactive photo zones and showcase the company's amiGO Jr. series of devices designed for families, including kids' phones, smartwatches, and tablets. Starting June 5th, consumers can also purchase official limited-edition licensed merchandise, such as phone cases, power banks, and Toy Story plush toys, in stores and online.

AT&T also plans to host special "Toy Story 5" screening events for families enrolled in its "Connected Learning Centers" program. Since 2021, AT&T's digital resources have benefited over 2.4 million people, with nearly 1 million students participating in learning through The Achievery platform. The company aims to establish at least 100 Connected Learning Centers by the end of 2027.

Lylle Breier, Executive Vice President at Disney, commented: "No matter how technology changes the way we play, the connections between family, friends, and toys are what matter most. We are thrilled to partner with AT&T to bring these meaningful connections to life." "Toy Story 5" is directed by Andrew Stanton, with Tom Hanks voicing Woody and Tim Allen voicing Buzz Lightyear. The film introduces a new character, a tablet device named "Lily Pad," exploring the intriguing intersection of technology and childhood play.
