Healius (ASX:HLS) said it has signed a contract with the Australian Department of Defence to provide private pathology services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF), according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Total revenue over the initial period of the contract is expected to be approximately AU$60 million, the filing added.

Under the contract, Healius, through its national pathology network, will provide a full range of outpatient pathology services to ADF personnel.

The contract commences on Dec. 1 for an initial five-year period, with extensions for up to a further five years at the option of the Australian Defence Force.
