Yibin City Commercial Bank (2596) Announces Changes in Management and Board Appointments

Yibin City Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. (2596) reported that its executive director and acting president, Ms. Jiang Lin, resigned from both positions effective October 30, 2025, citing personal reasons. The bank’s board confirmed there were no disagreements with Ms. Jiang and nothing further requiring shareholder attention.

On October 30, 2025, the board approved the appointment of Mr. Guo Hua as president and proposed his appointment as an executive director. His qualification as president remains subject to approval by the national financial regulatory institution. The board agreed that Mr. Guo would act as president pending regulatory clearance, after which his appointment as an executive director will be submitted to a general meeting of shareholders and then await further regulatory approval.

The board also proposed the appointment of Mr. Liu Kelin as a non-executive director, subject to approval at a general meeting and subsequent regulatory confirmation. Mr. Liu will not receive director’s remuneration during his tenure as a non-executive director.

Mr. Guo’s professional background includes multiple leadership roles at major financial institutions in Sichuan, including positions at China Construction Bank and Sichuan Bank. Mr. Liu previously served in various engineering and public service roles, most recently as an accountant at Yibin Municipal Fiscal Budget Compilation and Performance Evaluation Center.

Following general meeting and regulatory approvals, both appointees will commence their respective terms of office, aligned with the fourth session of the board. The annual remuneration for Mr. Guo will be disclosed in the bank’s annual report, while Mr. Liu will not receive remuneration in his role as a non-executive director.
