On the morning of October 13, Haier Group and Alibaba Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement, establishing comprehensive AI collaboration. Both parties will leverage Haier's full ecosystem deployment and Alibaba's full-stack AI capabilities to jointly build a new digital industry ecosystem and accelerate AI innovation development in the industry.
According to the agreement, the strategic cooperation between Haier Group and Alibaba will focus on core areas including AI+cloud, e-commerce, and globalization, exploring new pathways for industrial AI transformation.
In the AI+cloud sector, both parties will conduct full-stack AI cooperation encompassing scenarios, platforms, models, and computing power. They will jointly build industry-level models around smart home and intelligent manufacturing scenarios, deepen AI applications, and develop industry vertical domain models based on Tongyi Qianwen.
In advanced manufacturing, both parties will collaborate to build a comprehensive AI service system from computing power, models, and platforms to applications. They will fully integrate the platform capabilities of Haier's COSMOPlat industrial internet and combine Alibaba's deep deployment in computing power to jointly advance technological breakthroughs and application innovations of artificial intelligence in key scenarios such as manufacturing and services, accelerating large-scale implementation of new technologies, products, and scenarios, and injecting new momentum into industrial intelligence.
In e-commerce, both parties will deepen cooperation in domestic and overseas consumer sectors, relying on Haier's industrial advantages and Alibaba's overseas e-commerce system to build a cross-industry and cross-regional digital ecosystem.
In globalization, Haier will collaborate with Alibaba to build elastic heterogeneous computing platforms and highly available architectures that integrate public and private clouds, creating stable and reliable cloud services globally. In AI and big data, they will support Haier's development and deployment in key overseas markets such as Southeast Asia.
