纽曼矿业(NEM)近日公布的2024年第三季度财报显示,公司在当季的净利润未能达到华尔街分析师的预期,导致股价在盘后交易中大幅下跌。
根据财报,纽曼矿业第三季度录得净利润9.24亿美元,相当于每股0.80美元,低于分析师预期的0.85美元。尽管公司营收46.7亿美元与预期基本相符,但由于生产成本上涨以及内华达州重要矿区产量大降,公司利润出现下滑。
数据显示,纽曼矿业第三季度黄金全成本从去年同期的每盎司1,426美元上涨至每盎司1,611美元。公司表示成本上升主要源于在巴布亚新几内亚利希尔矿区的计划维护成本以及整个投资组合合同服务支出增加。与此同时,公司在内华达州的金矿产量出现大幅下滑,较去年同期的30万盎司下降近20%,仅为24.2万盎司,主要系地质环境变化和运营阻力所致。
