Virgin Australia Says On-Time Departure Rate Rises 8.2 Percentage Points in January

Virgin Australia Holdings' (ASX:VGN) on-time departure rate clocked in at 82.7% in January, rising 8.2 percentage points month-over-month, according to a Friday statement citing data based on scheduled domestic flights from the Bureau of Infrastructure and Transport Research Economics.
The airline's completion rate came in at 99.1% in January.
Virgin Australia recorded an average completion rate of 98.3% and an average departure on-time performance of 77.6% for its scheduled domestic flights in the 12 months ended Jan. 31.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Friday.
