2. How to Fund an account

We provide you with the option to either use POLi or online Bank Transfer to fund your Tiger Trade app. You can have access to your funds in your Tiger Trade app instantly or within a few hours to a few business days depending which method you choose to make a deposit.

Please follow the below steps on how to deposit funds using the Tiger Trade Mobile app

On the Portfolio tab, click on deposit as shown below:
The screen below will pop up, simply select the method that you want to fund your account.

POLi Deposits

If you choose this option, usually the deposit will be available on your Tiger Trade app instantly. A one-off verification of the bank account you have made the deposit from may be required.
Simply enter the amount you would like to invest and click on the button "Go to POLi".
Select your bank name and press Continue.
You will then need to enter your bank username and password to access your bank account and make a deposit.

Bank Transfer

Access your bank app or login to your bank account online and enter our bank account details as shown below. Ensure to include as your payment reference, your Tiger Brokers account number and your name, as shown on your Tiger Trade app, otherwise we will not be able to process it to your account.
Click on the I have transferred button (see above) to notify Tiger Brokers of your deposit. You have now completed the deposit process! You can also verify your bank account for a faster deposit.
Check your Portfolio page on your Tiger Trade app to check if you have received the deposit. Please contact our client services team at clientservices@tigerbrokers.nz if you need any further assistance.
Important Note: Tiger Brokers does not accept deposits from third parties. Deposits need to be from a bank account that is under your name.
