KWOON CHUNG BUS (HKEX: 00306) has announced its audited annual results for the period ended March 31, 2026. The company reported revenue of HK$2.805 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.86%. Profit attributable to owners of the company amounted to HK$242 million, marking a significant surge of 90.55% compared to the previous year. Basic earnings per share were HK50.8 cents. The announcement stated that the Group's overall performance in Hong Kong remained stable during the financial year. Both the non-franchised and franchised bus businesses recorded notable revenue growth. Benefiting from a steady increase in demand for cross-border bus services and local bus services, coupled with the positive impact of fare adjustments and a recovery in passenger volume for franchised services, the Group's bus-related operations achieved their best performance in recent years. This indicates robust growth momentum and a degree of resilience in both local and cross-border bus services amid a demand recovery.
Furthermore, the continuous deepening of integration within the Greater Bay Area has further strengthened the commercial, tourism, and livelihood connections between Hong Kong and mainland cities in the region, providing structural growth momentum for the Group's overall business in Hong Kong.
