Domestic refined oil product prices are set for adjustment at 24:00 on April 21. According to calculations by JLC, as of April 15—the sixth working day of the current pricing cycle—the average reference crude oil price stood at $98.45 per barrel, with a change rate of -5.50%. This would correspond to a reduction of 510 yuan per ton in retail prices for gasoline and diesel. When converted to a per-liter basis, the decrease amounts to approximately 0.42 yuan. The final extent of the reduction will depend on international oil price movements over the next few working days. It is also possible that minor adjustments may be made during the pricing mechanism's operation based on actual conditions.

International oil prices fell sharply on April 14. At the close of trading, the price of light sweet crude for May delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped by $7.80 to settle at $91.28 per barrel, a decline of 7.87%. Meanwhile, Brent crude for June delivery fell by $4.57 to close at $94.79 per barrel, down 4.6%.
