Sam Altman’s OpenAI Denies Partnership with Robinhood on Stock Tokens

OpenAI has made it clear that it did not partner with Robinhood regarding the tokenized shares of private companies like OpenAI and SpaceX. The AI company issued a statement on Wednesday distancing itself from Robinhood’s launch of tokenized equity products. OpenAI emphasized that the tokens being offered are not linked to actual company equity and that any transfer of OpenAI equity requires its approval.

The statement was a direct response to Robinhood’s announcement earlier this week, which had suggested that European users could gain indirect exposure to OpenAI and other companies via tokenized shares.

MSTR Stock Surges 8% As Strategy Set To Post $14B Q2 Gain

Strategy, listed on NASDAQ as MSTR stock, holds over 528,000 Bitcoin (BTC). At the end of March, those holdings were worth around $43.5 billion.

Since then, Bitcoin has gained more than 30%, increasing the value of those assets to almost $14 billion. Additional Bitcoin purchases during the quarter added another $600 million in unrealized profit.

SharpLink Gaming Soared 28% after Staking $2M More ETH as Stock Tests $12 on Big Gains

SharpLink Gaming has drawn new attention after staking another $2 million worth of Ethereum into lsETH. This move strengthens the company’s position among the largest Ethereum stakers in the market.

The company now holds around $458 million in lsETH, according to an Arkham post on X. Meanwhile, its stock price surged to $11.98, up by 28% or about $2.63 today.

Bitcoin Spot ETF Flow

The overall net inflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Wednesday was $407.78 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $136.68 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.3%.

The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on July 2 was Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, with a net inflow of $183.96 million. Following that was ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, with a net inflow of 83 million, according to SoSoValue.
