Xiaomi Group-W Surges Over 5% Following Launch of Mobile Agent Product "Xiaomi miclaw"

Xiaomi Group-W (01810) rose more than 5%, with shares up 5.22% to HK$33.88 at the time of writing. Trading volume reached HK$5.714 billion.

On March 6, Xiaomi introduced its mobile agent product "Xiaomi miclaw." The company's technical team stated via an official Weibo post: "Xiaomi miclaw, an AI interaction test product built on Xiaomi's MiMo large language model, has officially begun a limited closed beta today. Compared to traditional AI assistants, Xiaomi miclaw possesses capabilities across four layers: system-level functionality, personal context understanding, ecosystem connectivity, and self-evolution. Xiaomi miclaw represents a small step in our exploration of Agent technology. This closed beta is not open for public registration and operates on an invitation basis, with initial support limited to Xiaomi 17 series models."

Separately, it was reported that Lei Jun revealed Xiaomi plans to invest 200 billion yuan over the next five years to drive innovation in core technologies. A recent research report from Guosheng Securities noted that Xiaomi's advancements in AI and its multi-device ecosystem are poised to lead future hardware entry points. The brokerage believes that as an industry leader with a strong position in the premium segment, Xiaomi Group is well-positioned to enhance its long-term competitiveness following short-term industry fluctuations.
