Kuaishou Technology has reported its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025.
The company's revenues decreased by 7.8% to RMB32.6 billion compared to RMB35.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, primarily due to declines in online marketing services. For the year-over-year comparison, revenues increased by 10.9% from RMB29.4 billion in the first quarter of 2024.
Operating profit for the period increased by 6.6% to RMB4.259 billion from RMB3.994 billion in the same quarter last year.
Profit for the period slightly decreased by 3.4% to RMB3.979 billion from RMB4.120 billion in the corresponding period of 2024.
Earnings per share for equity holders, on a basic basis, was reported at RMB0.93, compared to RMB0.95 in the first quarter of 2024.
Diluted earnings per share were RMB0.91, down from RMB0.94 in the same period last year.
In terms of non-IFRS measures, the adjusted net profit increased by 4.4% to RMB4.580 billion, while adjusted EBITDA rose by 7.6% to RMB6.434 billion.
