Anheuser-Busch InBev's stock surged 6.18% during pre-market trading on Tuesday, driven by the company's better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and optimistic guidance for the fiscal year.

The Brussels-listed brewer reported quarterly earnings of $0.97 per share, surpassing analyst estimates of $0.89 by 8.99% and marking a 19.75% increase from the same period last year. Revenue also exceeded expectations at $15.267 billion, beating consensus estimates of $14.764 billion by 3.41% and representing a 12.03% year-over-year growth. RBC Capital Markets noted that "every region exceeded expectations" and that the strong results justify the share price performance.

Looking ahead, the company provided its FY26 outlook projecting EBITDA growth of 4-8%, with additional momentum expected from upcoming major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup. The return to volume growth after years of decline, combined with positive analyst sentiment and future growth catalysts, contributed to the significant stock price appreciation during the trading session.
