On 29 September 2026, China Renewable Energy Investment Limited (CRE) released its 2026 Interim Report in both English and Chinese. The document is now accessible on the HKEX website (www.hkexnews.hk) and the company’s site (www.cre987.com).
Key points from the notification letter:
• Publication method: CRE has formally adopted electronic dissemination for all future corporate communications, including annual and interim reports, meeting notices, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms. Printed copies will no longer be sent by default.
• Access for shareholders: – Materials are available for download on both the company and HKEX websites. – Shareholders who face difficulties accessing the electronic versions may request printed copies free of charge by emailing info@cre987.com or writing to the Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
• Non-registered holders: Investors holding shares through banks, brokers, custodians or HKSCC Nominees must provide a functional email address to their intermediaries to receive electronic notifications. Without a valid email address, they will need to monitor the CRE and HKEX websites proactively, as no reminders will be dispatched.
• Opt-in for printed communication: Shareholders who still prefer hard copies can complete and return the enclosed reply form to the share registrar or email a scanned copy to info@cre987.com.
• Support: For enquiries, CRE has set up a hotline at +852 2731 0000 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00).
This transition aligns CRE with HKEX Listing Rule 2.07, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce paper consumption while ensuring continued access to statutory documents.
