CDB LEASING (01606) has announced a significant fleet expansion move.

The company's three wholly-owned subsidiaries, acting as the buyers, have entered into a shipbuilding contract transfer agreement with the original buyer and the seller.

This agreement was executed after market hours on July 14, 2026.

Under the terms, the original buyer has consented to transfer its rights and obligations under the existing shipbuilding contract to the new buyers.

Concurrently, the seller has agreed to construct and sell the target vessels to these buyers.

The buyers have committed to purchasing the vessels, which are identified as three multipurpose bulk carriers.

The total consideration for this acquisition is capped at $138 million.
