Century Legend (Holdings) Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary sold 180,000 units of Link Real Estate Investment Trust on 14 July 2026 through on-market transactions. The units were off-loaded at an average price of HK$37.90, generating gross proceeds of HK$6.82 million (excluding transaction costs).

Post-transaction, the group retains 421,117 Link REIT units, equivalent to roughly 0.01622% of the trust’s outstanding units. The units disposed represented about 0.00693% of Link REIT’s total issue of 2,596,725,623 units (excluding treasury units) as at 10 July 2026.

The book value of the units sold stood at HK$6.57 million as at 30 June 2026, resulting in a disposal gain of approximately HK$0.25 million. Management intends to deploy the proceeds toward general working capital requirements or other securities investments.

Given that one or more applicable percentage ratios exceed 5% but remain below 25%, the transaction is classified as a discloseable transaction under Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, requiring announcement but not shareholder approval.

Link REIT reported revenue of HK$13.94 billion and a loss after tax of HK$7.79 billion for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, with total assets amounting to HK$219.78 billion.
