At the third JD.com Wine Tasting Event in Sanya, Richard Liu, founder of JD.com, emphasized that JD.com's review platform and "True Rankings" will never be commercialized. He stated that businesses should not prioritize profit and revenue in every aspect, especially when it comes to reviews and rankings. If monetization is involved, the rankings cannot remain authentic.
Liu explained that high-quality brands do not need to pay for rankings, while those willing to pay for placement are likely inferior or substandard. "If a company pays you but doesn’t get a top spot, why would they pay in the first place?" he questioned.
The event highlighted JD.com's commitment to maintaining unbiased and trustworthy consumer reviews without corporate influence.
