The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued supplementary materials requirements for companies filing for overseas listings on August 14, covering the period from August 10 to August 14, 2026. The CSRC's International Department requested additional information from eight companies, including 宏和电子 (Honghe Electronics).
According to the CSRC's request, 宏和电子 must further explain the necessity and feasibility of its Hong Kong listing plan, specifically in relation to the intended use of the raised funds. The company submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 15, with CITIC Securities acting as the sole sponsor.
The CSRC has asked 宏和电子 to provide supplementary details, alongside a legal opinion from its lawyers, focusing on how the fundraising plans would justify the decision to list in Hong Kong. The company's prospectus highlights that 宏和电子 possesses integrated production capabilities for electronic yarn and electronic cloth, offering a full range of low-end, mid-range, and high-end products. It is one of the few companies globally with a complete product line.
宏和电子 specializes in the research, development, production, and sale of high-end general electronic cloths, such as extremely thin and ultra-thin varieties, as well as specialty electronic cloths, including low dielectric constant and low dissipation factor (low Dk/Df) materials and low thermal expansion coefficient (low CTE) materials.
