ANHUIEXPRESSWAY (00995) announced that on August 20, 2025, the company entered into the S98 joint venture agreement with other members of the S98 consortium and reached consensus on relevant arrangements for establishing the S98 joint venture company.

The consortium's total capital contribution to the S98 joint venture company will amount to RMB 1.01 billion. Among the contributors, Anhui Communications Holding Group, the company, Shui'an Construction Company, Kaiyuan Road & Bridge Company, Communications Holdings Engineering, Communications Holdings Construction Engineering, and Xunjie Logistics will contribute RMB 484.84 million, RMB 202.02 million, RMB 151.51 million, RMB 151.51 million, RMB 10.1 million, RMB 5.05 million, and RMB 5.05 million respectively. The initial registered capital of the joint venture company is expected to be RMB 100 million upon establishment.

As stated in the company's announcement dated July 22, 2025, the S98 Quanjiao to Lukou Expressway Anhui section serves as an important corridor connecting Anhui and Jiangsu provinces. Establishing the S98 joint venture company with other S98 consortium members will enable the company to participate in the project. Through project participation, the company will further expand and enhance its highway business layout, improve regional transportation capacity, and strengthen its overall profitability level.
