DexCom (DXCM) shares surged 7.28% in post-market trading after the company reported second-quarter results that handily beat analyst estimates and raised its full-year revenue outlook. The glucose monitoring leader posted adjusted earnings of $0.70 per share, topping the consensus forecast of $0.61, while revenue climbed 13% year-over-year to $1.31 billion, exceeding the $1.29 billion analysts had expected.

Management also lifted its 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $5.18 billion to $5.25 billion, up from the prior $5.16 billion to $5.25 billion, and raised its margin forecasts, signaling confidence in sustained demand for its continuous glucose monitors. International revenue jumped 19%, and the company highlighted positive clinical trial results and the launch of a new AI-powered Stelo app as growth drivers.

The strong quarterly performance and improved outlook reflect rising awareness of diabetes care, better insurance coverage, and a growing consumer preference for finger-prick-free glucose monitoring technology, intensifying the competitive landscape among DexCom and its peers.
