HUANXI MEDIA (01003) has announced its annual results for the period ended December 31, 2025. The company reported revenue and net losses on film investments of HK$342 million, an increase of 900.75% compared to the previous year. The annual loss attributable to shareholders was HK$498 million, representing a 91.07% expansion from the prior year. The loss per share was HK$0.14.

According to the announcement, the increase in net loss during the year was primarily due to a reduction in expected revenue from film and television series copyrights based on the latest market developments. This led to an increase in impairment losses on film and television copyrights, which rose to HK$185 million (2024: HK$216,000). Additionally, impairment losses on financial assets and contract assets increased to HK$63.733 million (2024: HK$21.898 million).
