SouthGobi Resources Ltd. has revised the shareholder record date for its forthcoming Special Meeting, originally set for 8 July 2026, to 23 July 2026. The adjustment allows additional time for regulatory review and approval of meeting materials.

Shareholders listed on the register at the close of business on the new record date will be eligible to receive notice of, attend and vote at the Special Meeting, scheduled for 27 August 2026 in Vancouver (28 August 2026 Hong Kong time).

To secure voting rights, transfer documents and share certificates must reach Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 4:30 p.m. (Hong Kong time) on 23 July 2026. Proxy forms, together with any supporting authorities, must be lodged with TSX Trust Company or Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited no later than 6:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on 25 August 2026, or 48 hours before any adjourned session, excluding weekends and public holidays in the relevant jurisdictions.

The formal meeting notice and management circular will be dispatched to shareholders and filed on SEDAR+ in due course.
