Shares of DMALL (02586) have surged more than 6% in trading.

As of writing, the stock is up 6.42%, trading at HK$6.29 with a turnover of approximately HK$13.84 million.

Key Developments

The rally follows a company announcement regarding its integration with WeChat's AI ecosystem.

On June 8th, WeChat Open Class released guidelines for developers to access its AI platform, offering them the capability to voluntarily integrate with WeChat AI.

DMALL was among the first batch of developers to complete internal testing and successfully adapt to the system.

The company has established a conversational, one-stop shopping closed-loop through this integration.

Strategic Partnership

DMALL stated that this collaboration with partner Pang Donglai to access the WeChat AI agent test will accomplish the adaptation of intelligent agents across the entire O2O shopping chain.

Concurrently, the initiative will help develop templatized, reusable, and rapidly iterable general client-side capabilities.

This foundational work is expected to pave the way for enabling more retail enterprises to connect with the WeChat AI agent platform in the future.
