On September 9th, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, along with other relevant departments, officially released a new batch of job classifications to the public. This latest list introduces 11 brand-new professions, including port shore-based management engineering technicians, embodied AI robot application technicians, and sports data analysts, alongside 23 newly defined job categories such as community workers, low-altitude logistics operators, and age-friendly renovation designers. The announcement also includes adjustments and updates to the information for 6 existing occupations or job categories, such as agricultural product brokers.

Among the newly introduced professions, there are 5 designated as digital occupations and 3 classified as green occupations. With this latest addition, the total number of officially recognized digital and green occupations in China has now climbed to 113 and 142, respectively.

In the category of modern service-oriented roles, the newly published professions and job types cater to a wide range of needs. On one hand, they support corporate development and industrial upgrades, featuring roles like sustainability planning specialists, airport clear-zone inspectors, and intelligent agent developers. On the other hand, they respond to the public's aspirations for a better quality of life, including positions such as incense craft artisans, smart furniture installers and adjusters, and fresh-cut flower processors.

Since 2019, China has cumulatively published and recognized a total of 121 new professions across 8 separate batches.
