The application for the proposed share swap merger of CICC with Dongxing Securities Corporation Limited and Cinda Securities Co.,Ltd. has been formally accepted by the Shanghai Stock Exchange for review.

CICC announced that it had previously disclosed plans to issue A-shares to all A-share shareholders of Dongxing Securities Corporation Limited and Cinda Securities Co.,Ltd. to effect a share swap absorption merger with the two firms.

On June 12, 2026, the company received a notice from the Shanghai Stock Exchange stating that the application documents were complete, complied with statutory forms, and had been accepted for review in accordance with the law.

The proposed transaction remains subject to approval by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and other relevant authorities before it can be implemented.
