At the XPeng Tech Day 2025 event, CEO He Xiaopeng unveiled the company's latest IRON humanoid robot. The demonstration featured the robot walking with natural, fluid movements and highly realistic human-like postures, drawing cheers from the audience.

He Xiaopeng remarked that while the robot took only a few dozen steps on stage, the XPeng robotics team had worked for seven years to achieve this milestone. By enhancing passive toe joint flexibility, the R&D team enabled IRON to move with light, gentle strides—so smooth it resembled walking in space.
