The on-market transactions were executed at prices between HKD 0.170 and HKD 0.179 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 0.175 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 0.18 million.

Following the buyback, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.02 % to 5.67 billion, while the treasury share balance increased to 143.42 million. Total issued share capital remained unchanged at 5.81 billion shares because the repurchased shares have not been cancelled.

To date, China Starch has repurchased 273.52 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 4.59 % of the issued share base at the mandate date, leaving authority for a further 322.93 million shares.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, China Starch is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 5 November 2026, 30 days after the latest repurchase. The company confirmed that all transactions complied with Main Board Rule 10.06 and that no repurchased shares have yet been cancelled.
