The "2026 E-Town Robot Consumer Festival" launched today in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (also known as Beijing Yizhuang). This year's event has been fully upgraded from last year's edition, operating under the theme "Buy Robots, Go to Beijing Yizhuang." It continues to innovate the entire service process of the robot consumer festival, aiming to bridge the "last mile" from technology to the market. Last August, the inaugural global E-Town Robot Consumer Festival was held in Yizhuang, achieving total sales exceeding 330 million yuan, with over 190,000 robots and related products sold. The consumer vouchers demonstrated a significant leverage effect, directly driving over 70 million yuan in sales. Notably, daily sales of JD.com's full-stack robot and AI categories saw a 101.9% increase month-over-month. The world's first embodiment-intelligent robot 4S store became a major attraction, where orders for high-end humanoid robots priced above 1 million yuan accounted for 25% of total sales during the 16-day period.

A spokesperson for the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area said, "This year, we have fully upgraded the event across three dimensions: capital investment, scene layout, and consumer experience, striving to ensure consumers can 'buy affordably and enjoy shopping.'" In terms of capital investment, this year's consumer festival has increased the dedicated consumer incentive fund from 15 million yuan in the first edition to 18 million yuan, with a specific focus on the artificial intelligence and embodiment-intelligent industries. The process for collecting consumer vouchers has been significantly simplified, utilizing a WeChat mini-program to enable one-click verification via mobile phone number, ensuring subsidies reach consumers directly. For scene layout, the consumer festival is linked with the 2026 World Robot Conference, innovatively creating an integrated activity model comprising "conference, exhibitions, competition, and festival." This year, the festival has added a 9,600-square-meter robot consumer street based on last year's setup, featuring nearly 100 booths across four major sections: brand displays, technology and cultural products, specialty dining, and interactive entertainment. Over 50 robot experience devices covering education, elderly care, and home scenarios have been deployed. It pioneers a dual-core consumption model of "see the future indoors, buy the present outdoors," and includes special features like AR stamp collection checks and cultural product sales. The spokesperson added, "This year, we have expanded the scale and variety of the consumer street, making it not just a display window but a true consumption space where people can actually 'buy things'."

Additionally, the consumer festival implements a differentiated "one strategy for one mall" approach across six major shopping centers: Longfor Beijing Yizhuang Tianjie, Beijing Hualian Yizhuang Shopping Center, Dazu Plaza, Longyue City, Wangfujing Outlet UpTown, and Yinghai Huanfang Plaza. Nearly 600 merchants are offering promotional activities, complemented by 3.5 million yuan in co-branded mall consumer vouchers, establishing a linkage mechanism of "main venue attracting traffic, malls facilitating conversion." During last year's festival, Longfor Beijing Yizhuang Tianjie saw a 20% year-on-year increase in foot traffic and a 32% rise in sales. This year's festival also introduces three new industrial technology study tour routes: AI Intelligence Exploration, Space Dream Chasing, and Smart Driving Future. These routes include industrial and cultural tourism spots within the area such as Xinghai Piano, Beijing Rocket Street, Nanhaizi Milu Park, and BAIC Arcfox, connected by autonomous minibuses, enabling a "single vehicle for full enjoyment."

Meanwhile, JD.com has set up a dedicated robot consumer festival zone, featuring over 600 robot products, with online special subsidies, and activities including new product launches, promotional sales, and live-streaming sales. The consumer voucher subsidies cover emerging smart hardware categories such as AI perception devices, AI mini-host computers, and heat press machines, fully enriching the "AI + consumption" scenario. The spokesperson for the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area stated, "In the future, the zone will continue to deepen the integrated development of 'artificial intelligence + consumption,' aggregating high-quality innovation resources, cultivating new technology consumption formats, and consistently polishing the distinctive IP of the robot consumer festival. Using the consumer festival as a link and the World Robot Conference as a stage, we aim to promote deep integration of culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and exhibitions, fully leverage the 'ticket economy,' unleash the synergistic effect of linked consumption, and transform the slogan 'Buy Robots, Go to Beijing Yizhuang' from a tagline into a deeply ingrained brand symbol."
