Voyager Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: VOYG) has announced a collaboration with the major U.S. healthcare system Geisinger, which has become the first major clinical and life sciences partner for its Voyager Institute for Space Technology and Advancement.

The memorandum of understanding signed by the parties establishes a joint research framework aimed at translating the unique conditions of microgravity environments into breakthrough applications for human health. The collaboration will focus on areas including space-based pharmaceutical development, remote patient monitoring and telehealth, next-generation healthcare cybersecurity platforms, multi-omics and spaceflight biological effects, as well as unique clinical trial opportunities in microgravity.

Under the agreement, Voyager and Geisinger will jointly seek external research funding of up to $1 million. The partnership also includes reserved research resources, tenant access, payload development support through commercial space infrastructure such as Starlab, and collaboration within the VISTA ecosystem.

VISTA is the first U.S. science park dedicated to space research, manufacturing, and services, developed in partnership with The Ohio State University. This network provides access to the International Space Station and future commercial space platforms, assisting tenants in developing next-generation technologies for civil, commercial, and national security sectors.

Geisinger is one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the United States, serving approximately 1.2 million residents in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. The non-profit organization has annual revenues of $9 billion, operates more than 130 care sites including 10 hospital campuses, and manages a health plan covering over 509,000 members.
