Bruker (NASDAQ: BRKR) shares tumbled 8.27% in pre-market trading on Tuesday after the company reported second-quarter 2026 financial results that, despite beating adjusted earnings estimates, fell short on revenue and provided a disappointing full-year outlook.

The company posted quarterly sales of $838.5 million, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $853.5 million, though revenue still rose 5.2% year-over-year. While adjusted earnings per share of $0.49 beat the $0.39 estimate, the bottom line was marred by a GAAP operating loss of $65.3 million and a net loss of $50.9 million, reflecting $134.9 million in non-cash goodwill impairment charges.

Looking ahead, Bruker’s fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $3.54 billion to $3.57 billion came in below the $3.589 billion consensus estimate, fueling further concern among investors. The company’s non-GAAP EPS outlook of $2.10 to $2.15 was roughly in line with expectations, but the top-line miss and impairment-related losses overshadowed the operational improvements.
