Following their removal from the Hong Kong Stock Connect eligible securities list, several stocks experienced significant declines during morning trading. As of press time, EASOU TECH (02550) dropped 31.53% to HK$3.17; CONCORD HC GP (02453) fell 25.32% to HK$3.54; CITYCHAMP (00256) declined 22.71% to HK$0.228; and SIPAI HEALTH (00314) decreased 13.6% to HK$4.7.

On the news front, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange respectively issued announcements stating that due to constituent adjustments in the Hang Seng Composite Large Cap Index, Mid Cap Index, and Small Cap Index, the Hong Kong Stock Connect eligible securities list has been adjusted and will take effect from September 8th. Among the changes, 20 stocks including EASOU TECH, CONCORD HC GP, CITYCHAMP, and SIPAI HEALTH have been removed from the list.
