The AI Industry Chain Innovation Practice Forum, a key parallel session of the 2026 Lean Digital Innovation Conference and Lean Digital Transformation Innovation Ecosystem Expo, was successfully held on September 6 at the National Convention Center in Tianjin.

Under the theme "Full-Stack AI Driving Smart Manufacturing Value Realization," the forum brought together academicians, experts, leading industry enterprises, and innovative tech startups to explore cutting-edge industry trends. The event served as a high-end platform for technology exchange, project matching, resource sharing, and ecosystem co-construction.

Peng Huagang, President of the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Society, stated in his address that advancing lean digitalization represents the micro-level embodiment of developing new quality productive forces and is an inherent requirement for high-quality enterprise development.

Li Peigen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote speech titled "Building an Open Ecosystem: The Collaborative Path for Full-Stack AI Enterprises to Integrate into Manufacturing Industry Chains." He emphasized that lean manufacturing is the "first principle" of the manufacturing industry, and the deep integration of AI with lean management must return to business fundamentals, ensuring technology truly solves on-site problems—completing a logical loop from policy guidance and regional implementation to technical practice.

During the keynote presentation session, Ding Yu, Vice President of Yuantu, noted that manufacturing enterprises embracing large models need to overcome data and cost bottlenecks in private deployment through full-stack optimization of "storage, computing, networking, and management," transforming AI from a technological race into on-the-floor value delivery. Representatives from Hexi District's sci-tech enterprises—including Yinhe Intelligent, Huizhi Xingyuan, and Tianhe Digital—delivered presentations on lean digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing data applications, and high-quality dataset construction, showcasing the district's deep technical expertise and collaborative innovation vitality in key segments of the AI industry chain.

Additionally, representatives from Moore Threads, Sugon Intelligent Computing, Rimian Kaiwu, and Yuhe Technology shared their insights, covering dimensions such as domestic GPU ecosystems, supercomputing internet platforms, silicon-based employee deployment, and AI-native process reengineering, offering frontier exploration and practical applications.

Following the keynote speeches, a micro-dialogue session titled "From Computing Power to Production Line: Where Exactly Is the Last Mile Bottleneck?" was held. Enterprise guests from Anshan Iron and Steel Group, Guangdong Yuantu Future Technology, and 360 Government and Enterprise Security Group's Tianjin branch engaged in in-depth discussions on the pain points and barriers in AI technology implementation and industrial deployment pathways, exchanging ideas and building consensus.

From academicians' forward-looking insights to enterprises' real-world cases, this forum clearly signaled a pivotal shift: the intelligent transformation of China's manufacturing sector is no longer a patchwork of piecemeal technological experiments, but a systematic change driven by coordinated full-stack capabilities and upstream-downstream collaboration across the entire industry chain. As computing power truly integrates into production lines and AI empowers every workstation, the underlying logic of China's manufacturing evolution toward "smart manufacturing" is being redefined—this is precisely the era-defining value of integrating lean digitalization with artificial intelligence.
