In the first half of this year, the Port of Zhuhai's Gaolan Harbor Zone reported a total throughput of 63.02 million tonnes, marking a 14.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Gaolan Border Inspection Station. The port's freight sector has maintained a rapid growth trajectory.

To enhance customs clearance efficiency and reduce operational costs for enterprises, the Gaolan Border Inspection Station has leveraged its functional role. It has deepened reforms in immigration management services, optimized the business environment, and actively promoted the port's expansion. Key initiatives include supporting the construction of major port-area projects, facilitating the launch of new shipping routes, and introducing measures such as "one-stop service," "tide-dependent fast inspection," "tailored plans for each vessel," and "expedited clearance after fog clears." These efforts aim to streamline clearance procedures, effectively lowering costs and boosting efficiency for businesses.

As of June 30, the station had inspected over 1,500 inbound and outbound international vessels, a 3.4% year-on-year increase, saving enterprises approximately 22 million yuan in costs.
