ISS Backs Aurora Cannabis, Recommends Approval of All Board Resolutions

Global medical cannabis leader Aurora Cannabis Inc announced today that independent proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services Inc (ISS) has recommended shareholders vote in favor of all resolutions at the upcoming annual general meeting. ISS is a premier provider of corporate governance solutions, with its voting recommendations widely adopted by over 1,700 institutional clients worldwide.

The recommendations from ISS cover the following items: setting the board size at five directors, electing directors for the next term, appointing auditors for the upcoming year, and an advisory vote on executive compensation. Aurora’s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer expressed satisfaction that ISS recognized the company's strong governance framework and board oversight mechanisms. He also thanked shareholders for their trust and support, emphasizing the company's continued focus on expanding its global medical cannabis operations and creating long-term value.

The company’s annual general meeting is scheduled to be held virtually on August 7, 2026. Shareholders will be able to participate via a live webcast, ensuring equal access.
