BRAINAURORA-B (06681) announced that its research team, in collaboration with Professor Ni Xin's team from Beijing Children's Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University, has achieved significant scientific progress in the field of pediatric cognitive digital therapy dosage.

The joint study, titled "Optimal doses of cognitive digital therapeutics for pediatric patients with cognitive impairments: A retrospective study based on big data," has been published in the internationally renowned comprehensive medical journal BMC Medicine (2025 Journal Impact Factor: 8.7). This retrospective study, based on real-world big data, included 38,526 children and adolescents aged 3-18 with cognitive impairments who used the company's "Brain Function Information Management Platform Software System" (Class II medical device, Xiang Medical Device Registration No. 20182210142) for at least two weeks of training between 2021 and 2025. The study systematically characterized the dose-response relationships across three dimensions: daily training duration, weekly training frequency, and total training period.

The platform comprises 123 tasks adapted from classic paradigms, covering four core cognitive domains: perception, attention, memory, and executive function. The Mean Cognitive Index (MCI) served as the primary outcome measure, reflecting comprehensive task performance during training.

Key findings from the study include: First, regarding the optimal daily dose for the overall population, using 0-4 minutes per day as the baseline, significant improvement was observed only when single-day training exceeded 8 minutes, with 16-20 minutes per day corresponding to the highest cognitive performance for the overall population. Extending single-day training beyond this range did not yield additional significant benefits. Second, regarding age and gender stratification, the four subgroups exhibited different optimal daily doses and total doses. Third, regarding weekly training frequency, the highest cognitive performance across all four subgroups occurred with 7 days of training per week; most subgroups required at least 5 days of weekly training to show significant improvement. Fourth, regarding total intervention duration, regardless of age or gender, children who trained for more than one month demonstrated significantly greater cognitive improvement compared to those who trained for less than one month.

The study concludes that this is the first large-scale research to define age- and gender-specific optimal digital training doses for pediatric patients with cognitive impairments, providing robust evidence for individualized cognitive digital therapy interventions and offering a reference for future treatment guideline development. Based on real-world data from 38,526 children, this study systematically defined optimal digital training doses across different ages and genders for the first time, filling the research gap in dose-response relationships within the pediatric cognitive digital therapy field and providing evidence-based support for personalized precision intervention.

The publication in the top-tier international general medical journal BMC Medicine highlights the company's leading capabilities in large-scale real-world data research on cognitive digital therapy and further expands its evidence-based proof landscape, covering diverse populations including pediatric cognitive disorders.
