The board of JIUYUAN GENE (02566) has announced that Dr. Huang Wenli has been elected as an independent non-executive director of the company's inaugural board at the annual general meeting.

Dr. Huang's term will be effective from June 15, 2026, and will continue until the conclusion of the first board's term.

In a separate election held at the company's staff congress on the same date, Mr. Xu Feihu was elected as the employee representative director for the inaugural board.

Mr. Xu's tenure will also last until the first board's term expires.
