G.H.Y Culture & Media Holding Co., Limited on Apr, 24 2026 released written replies to questions from the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) regarding its FY2025 annual report, detailing upcoming productions, its use of artificial intelligence, financial exposures and governance practices.

The media group said visibility on its pipeline will continue to be provided through Singapore Exchange filings. Key projects that have cleared regulatory review include “The Ferry Man: 10th Anniversary” and “Notes of DNA Appraiser”. The company highlighted “Beautiful Fairytale”, now in production for a 2026 premiere, and confirmed that further instalments of the “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty” franchise are planned for the second half of 2026, with “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 5” expected to start filming in autumn 2026. An AI-driven micro-drama, “Strange Chronicles of Tang”, has recently been completed.

Management noted that it is scaling up short-form content, citing a China micro-drama market estimated at about 9.5 billion Singapore dollars in 2024. Two dedicated AI teams—one for long-form dramas and another for short-form works—are being deployed to automate editing, visual effects and other workflows. The group is piloting AI processes on “Beautiful Fairytale” and expects shorter production lead times and lower costs, although specific savings targets were not disclosed.

Elsewhere, G.H.Y said the year-end rise in trade receivables largely reflected the completion of more drama projects late in 2025. About 98 per cent of outstanding balances were less than 60 days past due, and collections since Dec, 31 2025 have followed agreed schedules. The board added that credit exposure to a major customer is actively monitored and considered manageable.

Regarding oversight, PricewaterhouseCoopers Risk Services Pte. Ltd. acted as internal auditor for FY2025, reviewing business process cycles, sustainability reporting, investment management and interested-person transactions across all key subsidiaries in China, Australia and Malaysia. The audit committee said management has action plans in place to address recommendations, with progress tracked and reported at each committee meeting.
