Dana Incorporated's stock plummeted 5.74% during intraday trading on Wednesday, as investors reacted to the company's latest financial update.

The propulsion solutions maker reported strong first-quarter results, with sales rising 5% year-over-year to $1.90 billion, beating analyst estimates of $1.82 billion. Adjusted EBITDA increased to $171 million, driven by cost savings and efficiency improvements. The company also announced a new business win with RAM Dakota and repurchased 4.4 million shares during the quarter.

Despite the positive quarterly performance, Dana's full-year guidance appears to have disappointed the market. The company maintained its 2026 sales guidance range of $7.30 billion to $7.70 billion, with a midpoint below the FactSet consensus estimate of $7.61 billion. Similarly, the company's adjusted EPS guidance of $2.00 to $3.00 for 2026 has a midpoint below the FactSet estimate of $2.66, leading to investor concerns about future earnings potential despite the solid first-quarter showing.
