On Jan, 29 2026, Raffles Education Limited announced that its subsidiary Langfang Hezhong Education Consulting Co., Ltd. has received a notice from the Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone Natural Resources and Planning Bureau regarding a proposed government acquisition of about 499 mu of land situated on both sides of Li Siguang Road, Gu'an County, Langfang City, Hebei Province.

Hezhong replied on Jan, 27 2026 that it will cooperate with the authorities and engage in discussions, but no terms or compensation details have been disclosed.

The land carried a book value of approximately 113.8 million Singapore dollars as of Jun, 30 2025, based on the group’s latest audited financial statements.
