Industrial AI software provider Intercorp Financial Services Inc. (IFS) announced strategic partnerships with Boston Dynamics, Anthropic, 1X Technologies, and Siemens at the "Industrial X Unleashed" conference in New York, aiming to accelerate digitalization and automation in heavy industry and utilities sectors.

Under the collaboration with Boston Dynamics, its quadruped robot Spot will be deeply integrated with IFS.ai to enable end-to-end automation for facility inspections, anomaly detection, and predictive decision-making. Spot can identify overheating via thermal imaging, detect gas leaks through sound recognition, and read equipment dials—transmitting data in real-time to IFS.ai for automated analysis and response assignment.

The partnership with Anthropic introduces the industrial AI solution "Resolve," which leverages the Claude model to predict equipment failures and reduce downtime. In a pilot at Scottish distillery William Grant & Sons, Resolve is projected to save approximately £8.4 million annually. The predictive technology has also been applied to disaster response, improving power restoration efficiency by around 40% through preemptive impact assessment.

With 1X Technologies, the humanoid robot NEO will be equipped with IFS.ai for automation in manufacturing and utilities, with commercialization expected by 2026.

The Siemens collaboration focuses on grid solutions, combining IFS’s enterprise asset management and field service systems with Siemens’ Gridscale X to address challenges like aging infrastructure, labor shortages, and distributed energy integration.

IFS Chief Product Officer Pedersen stated that these multi-party collaborations will drive deeper integration of physical and digital systems, delivering safer and more efficient autonomous solutions for industrial applications.
