Integer's stock fell 5.52% in pre-market trading on Thursday, following the medical-device company's announcement of a lowered financial outlook for 2026 and the initiation of a strategic review that could include a sale or merger.

The company cited headwinds with three of its products for the reduced guidance, now expecting 2026 sales of $1.81 billion to $1.84 billion, down from a prior range of $1.83 billion to $1.88 billion, and below the FactSet consensus estimate of $1.85 billion. Adjusted earnings per share are projected to be $5.83 to $6.40, down from the earlier forecast of $6.29 to $6.78.

Integer also reported that first-quarter operating income dropped 36% to $32 million, despite a slight 0.5% increase in revenue to $440 million. The board's decision to explore strategic alternatives, including a potential sale or merger, adds uncertainty for investors amid the weaker financial projections.
