Jardine Matheson Holdings (J36) unveiled a five-year strategy aimed at delivering a total shareholder return (TSR) of more than 9% per annum at its first Investor Day on Jun, 16 2026.

The Hong Kong-headquartered conglomerate said it plans to: • Achieve at least 9% p.a. TSR over five years. • Increase its dividend by a minimum of 5% each year. • Recycle at least 5.4 billion Singapore dollars of capital from its portfolio, excluding existing commitments by Hongkong Land and Astra. • Add at least 270 million Singapore dollars in profit after tax and minority interests from new acquisitions. • Conduct a share buyback of up to 675 million Singapore dollars through end-2027.

Chief Executive Officer Lincoln Pan told investors the group is focused on building “a diverse portfolio of high-quality, scaled businesses in Asia-Pacific” and that management compensation is aligned with the TSR goal.

Jardine Matheson said future investments will target majority or joint-control stakes in market-leading, cash-generative businesses that can scale across Asia-Pacific, leverage technology such as artificial intelligence and reach more than 135 million Singapore dollars in profit within five years.

Recent portfolio moves include the 3.24 billion Singapore dollar acquisition of Australian diagnostic imaging group I-MED, the privatisation of Mandarin Oriental, and exits or reductions in non-control stakes such as Yonghui, Vinamilk, Toyota Motor Corporation and Zhongsheng.

Over 100 investors and analysts are attending the Investor Day, which also features presentations from leaders of key portfolio companies Astra International, Hongkong Land, DFI Retail, Mandarin Oriental and I-MED.
