On September 5, JD.com announced through its official account that JD Travel is formally launching the "JD Wine Tasting Event," which will be held regularly going forward. This initiative aims to innovatively connect hotels with wine brands to create differentiated accommodation experiences. The inaugural wine tasting event will take place on September 16 at the Beijing International Hotel, with JD.com founder Liu Qiangdong attending in person.

JD.com stated that customers who book Beijing International Hotel through the JD App by September 10 and have a stay that includes the night of September 16 will be automatically enrolled. The company will randomly invite selected lucky participants to join the wine tasting event. "At this first wine tasting event, we welcome guests to 'raise a toast' with Brother Dong and share suggestions. Attendees are invited to experience complimentary professional Moutai wine tasting and enjoy a customized five-star hotel exclusive dinner at no charge."
