On August 21, Hang Seng Indexes Company announced the results of its latest quarterly review, officially adding Tianzhi Chip (09903) to the Hang Seng Tech Index. This makes it the first and currently only GPU constituent stock since the index's inception. The Hang Seng Tech Index tracks the 30 most representative technology companies listed in Hong Kong and serves as a core benchmark for measuring the performance of Chinese tech stocks.
This inclusion marks authoritative recognition from the capital markets of Tianzhi Chip's pivotal position in the AI computing infrastructure sector. It also enhances the index's coverage of critical semiconductor segments, filling a long-standing gap for domestic general-purpose GPUs within the benchmark. Since its listing in January this year, Tianzhi Chip has achieved continuous breakthroughs on the technology front.
In July, the company unveiled its latest flagship product, the Tiangai 300 chip. Built on a fully self-developed SIMT architecture, this processor rivals and surpasses international mainstream Hopper-architecture solutions across key operators, system scalability, and software ecosystem dimensions. The chip has already completed deep integration with multiple leading cloud service providers and server manufacturers, positioning it for large-scale delivery.
From product innovation to this milestone in the capital markets, Tianzhi Chip is leveraging its solid engineering capabilities and continuously evolving integrated hardware-software platform to help build a high-quality computing foundation for China's AI industry.
