BASiC Semiconductor Buys Back 64,400 H Shares, Treasury Stock Reaches 0.20% of Mandate

BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. disclosed a Next Day Disclosure Return to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 7 October 2026, reporting an on-market repurchase of 64,400 H shares executed the same day.

The shares were acquired at prices ranging from HKD 39.60 to HKD 40.18, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 39.88 per share. Total consideration amounted to HKD 2.57 million. The purchase represents 0.022 % of the company’s issued H shares outstanding prior to the transaction.

Post-transaction, the company’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 286.95 million, while treasury shares rose to 0.58 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 287.53 million.

The buy-back formed part of the mandate approved on 28 August 2026, which authorises repurchases of up to 28.75 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 583,800 shares, equivalent to 0.20 % of the company’s issued share capital at the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, BASiC Semiconductor is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares until 6 November 2026.
