At the premiere of the VR music film "Jia Xiang World: Infinite Player" held in Beijing on the afternoon of September 16, the first VR immersive music movie in mainland China produced and distributed by digital entertainment pioneer Zebra Labs, YH ENT founder Du Hua shared insights on the company's foray into the "tech + entertainment" crossover trend.
This VR project, which marks the first VR music film to receive official filing and approval from the National Film Administration in the domestic entertainment industry, not only redefines the immersive viewing experience but also serves as a strategic cornerstone for YH ENT in building a broader pan-entertainment ecosystem. Regarding the creative process, Du Hua noted, "In this VR film, Huang Minghao was deeply involved in the creative process. When it comes to content creation, I believe in respecting the artists and creators. Many of the conceptual elements came directly from his ideas, and we held numerous meetings. He also wanted to have better interaction with fans."
When asked whether YH ENT plans to turn VR music films into a regular commercial format, Du Hua told reporters, "I believe VR films and live concerts don't conflict with each other; they offer different experiences. YH ENT is a company driven by constant innovation. No one can really predict whether an innovative venture will become industrialized or generate commercial returns, but from our perspective, the world is evolving and changing, and we need to integrate innovation with technology. I'm convinced that taking action creates opportunities, while standing still means getting left behind."
She added, "From my personal standpoint, it's best to stay ahead of the industry whenever possible and keep pace with the times." Du Hua also discussed the company's broader vision, stating, "Whether it's robotics, digital humans, or the metaverse, I've always been the first to charge ahead of every frontier. Technology is advancing rapidly these days, but I still feel that pace isn't enough. YH ENT is currently exploring additional new tracks, hoping to carve out second and third growth curves for the company."
