CGN Power (01816) has announced that on April 29, 2026, Unit 1 of the Cangnan Nuclear Power Company, a subsidiary, completed all commissioning activities and is now ready for commercial operation. Cangnan Nuclear Power will proceed to obtain the necessary documents, including a power business license, in accordance with regulatory requirements. Typically, once these procedures are finalized, the date will be officially recognized as the unit's commercial operation date. Following the commencement of commercial operations at Cangnan Unit 1, the number of nuclear power units managed by the company, including those from joint ventures, will increase to 30. The total installed capacity of operational units will also rise from 33,040 megawatts to 34,248 megawatts.
