Singapore Airlines Group Reports Higher Passenger and Cargo Volumes for June 2026

Singapore Airlines (C6L) announced its June 2026 operating results, posting a 4.1 % year-on-year rise in passenger traffic to 13,622.3 million revenue passenger-kilometres, while passenger capacity grew 6.0 % to 15,644.0 million available seat-kilometres.

The Group’s passenger load factor eased by 1.6 percentage points to 87.1 %. Singapore Airlines recorded a load factor of 86.4 %, and low-cost unit Scoot achieved 89.5 %. Combined passenger numbers reached 3.7 million, up 6.3 % from June 2025.

Cargo activity strengthened, with cargo and mail carried increasing 8.5 % year-on-year to 103.0 million kg. Cargo load rose 5.1 % to 535.9 million tonne-kilometres, while capacity fell 2.3 % to 884.1 million tonne-kilometres, lifting the cargo load factor by 4.2 percentage points to 60.6 %. Performance was supported by shipments linked to artificial intelligence and data-centre demand, alongside frontloaded e-commerce volumes to Europe ahead of the European Union’s small-parcel duty starting Jul, 1 2026.

Operationally, Singapore Airlines launched flights to Hangzhou, China, during the month. Scoot began services to Pontianak, Indonesia, resumed Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, routes on Jun, 22 2026, and suspended them from Jul, 14 2026 following regional unrest. Singapore Airlines’ Dubai, United Arab Emirates, flights remain suspended.

As at Jun, 30 2026, the Group’s passenger network spanned 137 destinations in 36 countries and territories, with Singapore Airlines serving 78 destinations and Scoot 85. Its cargo network covered 139 destinations across the same 36 countries and territories.
