CITIC FAMC’s Second 2026 ESM Passes Fixed-Asset Budget Adjustment with 99.99% Approval

China CITIC Financial Asset Management Co., Ltd. (CITIC FAMC) reported that its second Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting (ESM) for 2026, held on 18 September 2026 in Beijing, approved the company’s revised 2026 fixed-asset budget plan by an overwhelming majority.

A total of 66.66 billion voting shares—equivalent to 83.06% of the company’s 80.25 billion issued shares—were represented in person or by proxy. The sole ordinary resolution, “Adjustment Plan for the Fixed Asset Budget Plan for 2026,” secured 66.65 billion votes in favour (99.99%), with 5.58 million votes against (0.01%) and no abstentions.

The meeting was convened by the board and chaired by Non-executive Director Xiang Xianchun. Six of the seven directors attended, with one director absent due to official duties. The vote-counting process was overseen by Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, alongside representatives from major shareholders and the company’s PRC legal adviser, ensuring compliance with the Company Law, the Articles of Association, and Hong Kong Listing Rules.

No shareholders were required to abstain from voting, and there were no voting restrictions or obligations to vote for or against the resolution under the Listing Rules.

The board confirmed that the ESM was validly convened and the resolution is now effective.
